Not only does this dramedy star Bette Midler and Laverne Cox, but it’s about a drag queen. Luckily, 2018 seems to have plenty of choose from on that front. This includes representation both in front of and behind the camera. There is a hope that over the years progress will do what it is wont to do: go forward. A new year, a new slate of films to consume.
